I am a visual designer who loves details.

I worked for Microsoft as a fulltime designer from 1991 – 2002 working on Microsoft Office products creating user interface designs, templates and icons.

Since 2002 I have been working as a freelance designer working closely with various groups throughout Microsoft on icons, branding and interface design.

I studied Graphic Design at Pacific Lutheran University where I also received a minor in Art History as well as Publishing and Printing Arts.  I learned how to set type on a 1900’s letterpress and discovered the history of kerning, leading and ligatures.

Outside of work, you will find me enjoying the outdoors with my family, hiking, running, and walking my golden retriever Callie.

I also volunteer and work on designs for different organizations in my life.
